Ing. Giuseppe Lupoi – Founder.

Graduated in 1968, he founded Studio SPERI in 1978. In over 40 years of professional activity he personally designed more than 80 buildings, hospital, airports/stations, environmental engineering works, roads and highways, bridges and viaducts, hydraulic engineering and industrial plants.

Among the most recent assignments include: design and supervision for the new hospital of Frosinone, enlargement of Desio (MI) hospital, and static and functional refurbishment of the University of Foggia Faculty of letters.

From 1994 to 1998 he was President of Oice, the Association of engineering, architecture, technical-economic consultants organizations, contributing significantly to the legal recognition of the engineering company and article 17 Merloni law of 1994. From 1999 to July 2003 he was Vice President of FITA-Confindustria. In 2000 he founded the COLAP, Coordination of unrecognized professional associations of which he is currently the coordinator. Since 2005 he is a member of the Executive Committee of the CNETO.

Author of numerous communications concerning legislation, he was a lecturer at the “Instituo Superiore della Pubblica Amministrazione” in the years 1994/5 and at the master of earthquake engineering at the University of Rome III in 2003/4.

Ing. Giampaolo Robba - Technical Director.

Graduated in 1976, he is an active member since 1978. He has thirty years of experience in planning and organizing and in the integrated design process. He place special care in the distribution and constructive aspects of a project, as well safety on site and fire prevention.

Among the most recent assignments include: Project manager of the Seismic Vulnerability Checking and preliminary draft of the securing works for ANAS bridges in the North and South regions of Italy (over 250 works); the construction design for the completion of the hospital in Palestrina (RM); the construction design for the new “Parco della Musica” (Concert Hall) of Cagliari; the construction design for the conversion of the former “Manifattura Tabacchi” in Bari.

Dott. Ing. Giorgio Lupoi - Technical Director.

Graduated in 2001, he completed a PhD in earthquake engineering and disaster risk reduction at the Rose School of Pavia in 2005. Active member since 2001, he is responsible for the design of complex structures and verification of seismic safety of existing buildings.

Among the most recent assignments include: refurbishment of several buildings of the “Ospedali Riuniti” of Foggia, the new “Parco della Musica” di Cagliari and the new hospital of Narni Amelia.

He also performed audits of seismic vulnerability on many existing buildings, including: Carrara hospital, Ascoli and Fermo hospital, headquarters of the fire brigade in the Campania and Basilicata Regions and Parma hospital.

He is the author of several scientific publications in international journals in the earthquake and maritime engineering subjects.

Dott. Ing. Alessio Lupoi - Partner.

Graduated in 1995, he completed a master’s degree in earthquake engineering at the University of California, Berkeley in 1998 and PhD in designing Innovative Structures at the University of Chieti in 2000. Since then he has worked researching in the field of earthquake engineering at the Department of structural and geotechnical engineering of the University of Rome La Sapienza. He is a researcher and lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture from 2009. Active member of the Studio SPERI from 1997 he participated in the engineering design of many buildings and infrastructure.

Among the most recent assignments include: technical assistance services for the verification of seismic safety for hospitals of the regions Sicily and Calabria for the Ministry of Health and the verification of Seismic Vulnerability and the preliminary draft of the securing works for ANAS bridges in the North and South regions of Italy.

Arch. Francesco Lupoi - Architectural Director – Hotels&Resorts

Graduate in Civil engineering-Architecture in 2003, certified LEED AP BD+C as result of company attention to green business industry. In 2014 he achieved the master in “Hospitality Management: Marketing and Revenue” at Cornell University. He moved to London in 2004, and has taken part in several international projects with various architectural firms specializing in hospitality industry and acquiring extensive knowledge in luxury hotels, conference centers, spa and golf resorts around the world. Some of the projects he led include the concept design for the Armani Hotel in Milan, a Rotana Hotel at Raha Beach (U.A.E.), an Hayatt Regency, in Minsk and the Santa Rosa monastery on the Amalfi coast.

Back in 2010, he is leading the architectural department L4. Among recent jobs include the design and site assistance for the new Resort Borgo Egnazia in Fasano (BR), the design competition for a Research Center in Palermo and the concept design for the new Central Library in Tripoli.

Ing. Olivia Capuano - Associate. – Architecture Director – Offices

Graduate in Civil engineering-Architecture completed the ANAB master in Bio-Architecture.

She is part of Studio SPERI since 2005 and has specialized in sustainable design with particular interest in the use of sustainable materials, the adoption of technologies for the reduction of energy consumption and the reduction of pollution both in the construction and building life phase.

Among the most recent assignments include: the construction design for the new RSA of Baronissi municipality, the design for the refurbishment of the “Presidio Ospedaliero Santobono” of Naples, the design for the conversion and extension of the Hospital “San Salvatore” of Pesaro and a luxury villa in Capri.

Ing. Francesca De Biasi - Associate.

Graduate in civil engineering, she is a member of Studio SPERI since 2005. She is responsible for the company quality system and the responsible for the management of the internal system.

In recent years she has gained a significant experience in the complex italian administrative rules for public procurement and became the reference person for the participation in public tenders for engineering services and “appalti integrati” (Design & Built).
